Connect Instantly with Your Audience
It’s a story we’re all tired of hearing, but 2020 changed everything. Clients that were usually commissioning beautifully told stories through videos were now asking for something else: live streams.
Dark to Light jumped into action, investing in new technology and training to enable businesses and nonprofits to broadcast their events live to the world.
With live streams you can create an awareness campaign, hold a fundraiser, or increase audience participation on your time and your schedule. We’ve seen these livestreams have immense success, and the best part is that it’s instant. No more waiting for an edit to release on social media. Your content is automatically available to your audience, wherever they are. And after the event itself, the video lives on to bring in more support and engagement for days afterwards.
You asked and we answered.
If you have an event you’d like to stream, we are ready and enthusiastic to tell your story to the world – live.
Recent Livestreams
Sun Valley Wellness Festival
Dark to Light, along with the Argyros and their team, successfully livestreamed all the speakers on stage at the Argyros and had a separate livestream at the culinary institute to capture events there. This was a massive 3 day project that left all parties feeling accomplished. Can’t wait for 2022!
This video represents a snippet of the quality you can expect. If you would like to see a full speakers piece from this event, please contact us.
Sun Valleys' Writers Conference
The Sun Valley Writers’ Conference strives to bring together readers, writers, and artists of diverse age, background, and experience to be informed, enlightened, challenged, and inspired by a world-class literary program in the great outdoors.
Higher Ground - Hero's Journey
Higher Ground capped off the long 2021 Fourth of July weekend with two patriotic and inspiring presentations at its 10th annual Hero’s Journey Gala. The goal of the Hero’s Journey is to celebrate America’s heroes and raise funds for Higher Ground’s programs. Higher Ground provides adaptive skiing and summer camps to local children and adults with disabilities, as well as the veterans.
The nonprofit organization hosted former Secretary of Defense General James Mattis as its keynote speaker at its fundraising dinner and auction. The gala seating was limited to less than half its normal size, so Dark to Light livestreamed the gala to multiple destinations, including a Jumbotron playing at an outdoor picnic. As demonstrated through this event, live streaming can be used for various purposes to reach a wide audience.
Sun Valley Culinary Institute
As part of The Sun Valley Wellness Festival 2021, there was a selection of culinary experts who presented and cooked at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute. This livestream was especially interesting for the Dark to Light team, as we were able to utilize picture-in-picture capabilities to give virtual viewers a fully immersive experience.
WRV Non-Profit Roundtable Series
The Argyros, Spur Community Foundation, and Dark to Light Productions, presented a series of live, panel discussions featuring some of the Wood River Valley’s non-profit leadership discussing how the Covid 19 pandemic has impacted their organizations and their plans as they move forward into the unknown of the next year.
Like other live streams, this series of discussions was streamed live online and now exists as lasting videos on social media.
